The patented Permalok connection is applied to the production
pipe by use of a Permalok ring or direct machining of the profile
to the pipe.
1.Carbon
steel plate is precisely cut utilizing computer controlled plasma
or oxy-fuel equipment to ensure Permalok’s size specifications.

2. Once
cut to the exact size, plate is roll formed into a cylinder and
tack welded to maintain its dimensions.
3. After
rolling, the cylinder is moved to the first of the automatic double
submerged arc welding (DSAW) stations. Size specifications are again
verified prior to welding.
4. Cylinders
are joined utilizing our jig and welded together (DSAW) to meet customer
length requirements.
5. The cylinder
is completed by welding (DSAW) the seams utilizing the digital readout
weld controller, a unique Permalok design.
6. The diameter
of the pipe is again tested for roundness and the patented Permalok
profile is added by welding or machining onto the end of each pipe.
7. The finished
pipe is coated to customer requirements and prepared for shipment.
8. We are
strategically located so your product can be shipped economically
by rail, truck, barge, or air, as needed.
