  Since developing the patented Permalok Interlocking Pipe Joining System over a decade ago, Permalok Corporation has continued to lead improvements in the trenchless construction industry.

  • In 2002, we introduced the T7 pipe profile to meet the needs of low to medium pressure applications
• The patented Permalok profile is currently being directly machined onto the pipe end, eliminating weld times and providing an improved Permalok pipe.

HorizontalDirectional Drilling In 2004, we introduced the Type HDD connection. This connection allows the Horizontal Directional Drilling industry freedom from field welding. The Type HDD connection is capable of withstanding the unique conditions encountered in pull-back of steel pipe during HDD.

In the near future, we anticipate introducing more new technology advancements, including:
 
• Stainless and Alloys
Permalok products made from stainless and alloy steels, and other non-ferrous metals, to furtherincrease the types of projects for which you can specify Permalok.
• Horizontal Directional Drilling
Permalok is in the process of developing a new connection capable of withstanding the unique conditions encountered in pull-back of steel pipe during horizontal directional drilling. We hope to complete design and field testing later in 2003.
• Offshore and Oilfield
Due to its unique design and quick press fit
connection, research is continuing in efforts to
utilize the joint for offshore and oilfield applications.
