The Problem:
Completing numerous water main installations, under both highway and railroad locations, in a timely manner. Difficult soil conditions, multiple project phases and multiple contractors created the potential for delays.

The Solution:
Permalok Steel Casing helped Augers Unlimited to install the Steel Casing through which 36" and 42" carrier pipe would be run. To accomplish its task in difficult soil conditions – and under tight time constraints – they relied on Permalok 54" O. D. Steel Casing in a combination of 10' and 20' lengths for the auger boring project. The patented Permalok system enabled Augers Unlimited to quickly install the Steel Casing with minimal disruption to the environment, allowing the other phases of installation to commence as scheduled.
